Lord Christopher Monckton, a former policy advisor to British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, and a vociferous critic of the climatechange propaganda wrote:

''Scores of scientific papers show that the medieval warm period was real, global and up to 3C warmer than now. Then, there were no glaciers in the tropical Andes: today they are there. There were Viking farms in Greenland: now they're under permafrost. There was little ice at the Nort Pole: a Chinese naval squadron sailed right around the Arctic in 1421 and found none.

The Antactic, which holds 90 percent of the worlds ice and nearly all its 160,000 glaciers, has cooled and gained ice-mass in the past 30 years, reversing a 6,000-year melting rend. Data from 6000 boreholes worldwide show global temperatures were higher in the Middle Ages than now. And the snows of Kilimanjaro are vanishing not because summit temperature is rising (it isn't) but because post-colonial deforestation has dried the air. Al Gore please note.

In some places it was also warmer than not in the Bronze Age and in Roman times,. It wasn't CO2 that caused those warm peridods. It was the sun. So the UN adjusted the maths and all but extinguished the suns role in todays warming.''

Christopher Booker said at the time of the Copenhagen UN Climate Change Conference 2009:

'' As the world has already been through two of its coldest winters for decades, with all the signs that we may now be entering a third, the scientific case for CO2 threatening the world with warming has been crumbling away on an astonishing scale.
Yet it is at just this point that the world's politicians, led by Britain, the EU and now President Obama, are poised to impose on us far and away the most costly set of measures that any group of politicans has ever proposed in the history of the world - measures so destructive that even if only half of them were implemented, they would take us back to the dark ages''

''Water is a much more powerful greenhouse gas, and there is 20 times more of it in our atmosphere, around one percent of the atmosphere, whereas CO2 is only 0.04 percent.
carbon dioxide has been made out to be some kind of toxic gas, but the truth is that it's the [gas of LIFE].
We breath it out and plants breath it in and it's [NOT] caused by us - Global warming is [NONSENSE]''
